PUSH/PULL

http://www.positivecycling.com/

DOWNTOWN Grand Rapids, Michigan! Push/Pull! Got the bike at Matthews Cycling in Indianapolis in spring 2007, good service down there. Everything else on the bike pretty much ordered thru Ada Bike Shop here in West Michigan. Came with the tubular Volos from Cane Creek...swapped those out to the Mavic Ellipses and then got the rear Hed 3. The Hed 3 is super stiff for acceleration and doesn't throw much flex at all, if any, for skids when needed...and of course looks super mean. Had the braking surface painted matte black and coated by a local shop to keep it looking simple. Love the Ellipses, super durable. Run a Conti Ultra Race in the front and a Ultra Sport in the back. Campy straps are okayish...they seem to fray easy. Took me a while to hunt down the Cinelli Graphis stem with the 80/100 drop, nice and flat, and its the CNCed version rather than the new stamped metal version. Had a sweet Look seatpost in matte carbon that snapped at the seat bolt while I was riding no-handed - be careful with carbon! Think that's about it…...not too much else to swap out. Weighs in at about 16.9 pounds.

I love hill climbs!

HOT DAMN!

nice hed

love it...... rear tri spoke is so nice

FUCKING SICK.....nice bike

FUCKING SICK.....nice bike man...fuck front tri spokes, i love to see them on the back, where they make much more sense

Better on the front, actually..

If you look at it from an aerodynamic standpoint, it's more important to cut the air in front of the bike than in the rear.

wait

then why do velo bikes have a disc on the back and a spoke wheel in the front?

interesting

Lots of bikes use two discs

It is considerably more aerodynamic to use a disc in the front, but you don't see it often because for outdoor use, it's impractical. A slight gust of wind can ruin your handling. Hell, riders even have trouble with tri and quad-spoke wheels, as well as deep-dish conventionally spokes ones.

For this real, a disc in the front and rear are much more common at indoor velodromes. For example.
