My everyday-do-it-all bike. Fenders, rack, lights, bell, and Carradice saddlebag added for full-on commuting. When it snows, add knobbies/studded tires, swap to platform pedals, and keep going. Not sure why I need anything else besides a mountain bike when I have this.

Looks dangerous

riding on the snow. I'd roll that bike in the winter time also. Nice build.

Tight Surly

Bill, are you truly hairless or, like me, just extremely aerodynamic? Speaking of hairless, those tire looks a bit bald for a cross bike. Looks like a good ride though. SL

Nope not 'truly' hairless - only in contrast to hairy-faced and chested folks. Otherwise I have plenty of hair in the wrong places. The tires are road slicks so they are naturally bald. Vittoria Open Corsa CX, they rock!
