This is an original 76 Schwinn Paramount that I acquired from my old boss/best friend before he had me take over his bike messenger company (STS Delivery in Milwaukee) as manager... He gave me this as his way to say thanks. I told him he could sell it for quite a bit of money and he refused... So of course I accepted his gift... Like you wouldn't. It's got some paint rub as the old paramounts had no clear coat. BUT, there is NO rust at all and only a small dent on the top tube from when the handle bars hit it a few years ago... purely cosmetic... I'm taking this to Waterford to get restored this summer... Needless to say after it gets restored I don't think that I'll be using it to dodge traffic at work very often... I'll keep you updated... Fastest, smoothest, stiffest, best cornering bike I've ever had the pleasure to work or ride on.

PS The wheels in the pictures are Deep V's laced to Suzue Pro Max hubs... These pictures are pre-Yipslon... Updates to come...

yes milwaukee

what is the bicycle messenger world like in milwaukee?

when i was younger i always had plans of being a bike messenger while going to college at uwm, then i moved to texas.

Very Busy...

Very Busy... believe it or not Milwaukee has quite a bit of work for bike messengers... We (STS Delivery) run from 7am-7pm and we rarely stop... usually have a break around 11:30-1 because of all the lawyers and judges taking lunch but most of the day were running the guns... Next time your in Milwaukee hit me up... come and work for a day...
