I got this bike used, as a trade for two other bikes. It was not rideable. I've since swapped virtually every part except the handlebars and the brakes, and added the Brooks saddle. Most recently, I've traded the carbon cross fork or a proper Surly fork. The bike is fun, fast and very, very comfortable. So comfortable, I'm starting to look up ultra distance events.
I had a bombproof rear wheel built I also rode my first Century on this bike.

I love the black theme you got going there! How long did it take to get a really comfortable set up? I have some lower back pain on my two bikes; I'm not sure if its my back strength thats lacking or if theres something wrong with my set up. Anyway I like the project you did with your first graders! Totally unique! Sam
