weight loss

get velocity aeroheads in blue, you'll still have the color w/o the extra weight (or V profile).
swapping the pake for something lighter wouldn't hurt either...

weight loss

deep v's are some of the heaviest rims around. Mavic open pros - lightest. you can probably lose the formula hubs. Thomson seatposts and stems aren't the lightest either - go carbon. Take off your brake. Carbon saddle...?

Well weight isn't too much of an issue on fixed gear bikes so don't worry too much about it.

new fork is my only guess,

new fork is my only guess, aside from new rims. How much does yours weigh? i've got a pake with deep v's, and mine's nothing but light, but I think i've just gotten used to it

maybe cheaper to lose a few

maybe cheaper to lose a few pounds in body weight.

Weight reduction

You'll lose close to a pound with a carbon fork, and get rid of that ugly Pake unicrown nonsense at the same time. Aside from that... maybe build up non-Deep V wheels and get clipless pedals?

Good looking bike, BTW.

What's everyone got against

What's everyone got against unicrown forks?
