I thought about doing that as well, but i was worried i'd spend just as much on the track ends as i did on the frame itself, it'd still be cheaper than one of their 90's track frames, but still.

I think its worth it especially how light it is. Plus the geometry is perfect for long rides.

what gearing did you end up

what gearing did you end up having to use, or did you just modify the dropouts somehow? I was thinking about trying this on my old 3.0, but none of the gearing combinations i tried worked out.

Did you have gear lugs on your downtube at all? My dale is so old I'll have to get them removed.... I think. Maybe put some rubber stops in there.
