I purchased this gorgeous lightweight Italian racer from its original owner. As you can tell from the pictures, he took very good care of her and described the bike to me as “a fine example of Italian art.? I have to agree.

With the exception of the Brooks saddle, tape, and Giles Berthoud touring bag, this bike is all original; as far as I can tell, it rides as good as the day it came off the showroom floor. I can't even describe to you the sound of the campy drive train -- like a fine Swiss watch, you can tell these components were machined to perfection.

A twin?

I think I have a bike that is a twin to yours. The Frame decal is scratched off so I was looking to find a remanufactured one. What does yours say Columbus SL or SLX? I will try to post some pictures of mine - I do Triatlons on mine and it is ready to be refurbished. Looking to do that this winter. Mine had been converted with Shimano 600 before I bought it and I have not tried to go back original yet.

The saddle, tape, and bags look right at home on that! Looks so fun to ride!

Drive side...

People. Drive side photos. I mean... is it me?

That would make a great weekender!

With that bag it's like an Italo-French hybrid :). Nothing like the spirit of international cooperation!
