I like this bike but I'm not so sure if it's a real Colnago. The logo on the lugs doesn't look right. Then the Columbus sticker should be on top of the seat tube and there's no patho on the seat stay. Is there anything marked on the BB and do you know the diameter of the seat post?

there ya go, shes all built, finished today(11/13/06). laced her up myself, good times. yea i got it from andy, not a new paint job, but just the decals tryin to restore her. too bad cant be rockin her back in SF...maybe someday.

got your comment. it looks like maybe a late 80's pista. still pretty rare. probably the easiest way to find out for sure would be to match that bottom bracket (and the lugs as you mentioned) to other pics you find online.

kind of a harsh paint job, you should look into getting it stripped and painted properly. email this dude: and see what he thinks. i've got a road bike he did and the lugs look fantastic. oddly, it's almost the same color blue as your bike.
