beautiful bike...

I am trying to do something similar to this, and I was wondering what kind of tires those are... They look like Continentals, but I can't seem to find anything with a tan fabric-look side like that.

yes, this are contis 'grand prix' bought in switzerland, but i don't know if they are still produced.

one of a kind!

Great to see this old bike. I cling to my m500 over 14 years, and it's still as good as new. How did you paint it?

... exactly, but mine must be 'round 14 yrs old too.
the original paint was almost gone, so frame & fork get a fresh powder coating. cheap & solid.

Gorgeous and practical!

That looks beautiful and functional. 26" wheels are really excellent for getting around town. Curb-friendly, high accelerating, and V-brake compatible without jumping through hoops.

Thanks for your Comment. As you might have seen i'm more in the Race- / Track-frame World. I like this Mounti 'cause it's very agile and solid in the same Time (there were 6 or 7 Wheelpairs on it yet). I've been riding it for so many Kilometers - almost around the Globe.
