Fuso that was languishing with no bids on ebay. Had to sell off a few others for it but well worth that. Previous owner was a collector and looks like this beauty had never been ridden. What a ride, Dave Moulton is a master builder and this bike is special indeed. Would love to find a 59 or 60!, note after one year I swapped in a nitto technomic stem on a nitto 177 bar, fits much better and a real pleasure to ride this beauty!

Nice

Fantasic looking ride , one of my favorites !

serial number

go to the FUSO or Dave Moulton registry page, if it's a number 500 or more it was more than likely built by his apprentice, Russ Denny

Hey Yes, did register, great

Hey

Yes, did register, great resource. This bike was definitely built by Dave Moulton. As per previous discussion(s), Dave built the 2500+- fusos up till 1993 when he closed the business. Russ only made a few frames between 1993-1997. Of course RD is now building Fusos again under his own name. The blurb below is from Dave Moulton back in 2006 as per a 1993 fuso for sale that claimed to be built by DM but was actually RD.

Russ Denny only built a few Fuso frames for a year or so after I left then started building frames under his own name. So this particular frame is indeed rare.

When I handed my business over to Russ in 1993 he had worked for me eight years and could do anything that I could. In one aspect, filet brazing, he was better than me. The frames he built were equal to mine, but that is not the issue here.

Cool Frameset

Cool frame and info, fascinating.
