Here's a rare black Cinelli SC road bike in unrestored and original condition, that dates from the 1960's - and has the classic oil ports in the bb-shell.
The bike has an interesting story, leaving the US for Sweden together with its original owner a long time ago. When he eventually moved back to the states he left the bike in the house he sold, making a nice surprise for the new owners. It has since then passed through 1 owner before me, and has hardly been ridden at all. The story tells that the frame, dating from the 1960's, wasn't built up until the seventies. So even if most components now on the bike are a few years younger than the frame, they are still original to the frame. I have made a few small component changes since I got it, trying to make it more period correct to the 60's (original components are kept of course). On the todo list is now just to build a wheelset with a fine pair of Old label Fiamme Rims to top it off.

Gem of a Bike

Looks awesome, very period correct. Old label Fiamme Rims are gonna be really nice on this classic Cinelli SC.

Hope you're getting some riding time on it.

Retro wow.

ATB This is probably the coolest bike on site.Unbelievable and stunning.Lugged steel frames are so much sweeter than any overly smoothed up new bike.Aesthetically perfect, retro rules.

What an amazing bike, I love

What an amazing bike, I love it! On behalf of the entire internet, thanks for sharing it with us.

Nice family heirloom!

Very nice! I had a Cinelli Pista I club raced back in the 70's. The frame was from the mid/late 60's and a beauty. I had it setup with Campy Record and Cinelli components. In the late 70's I sold it and still regret doing so. I look for the bike on Ebay, hoping to find it some day. Anyway, you have a real nice classic- don't part with it- hand it down as an heirloom!
