Good concept, superior execution. That is one seriously impressive machine.

Fantastic looking bike. You repainted it, or is it original??? As a whole, it is superb. Enjoy.

Thanks! Repainted,

Repainted, originally it was Banesto white (pearl white), but I used a colour that was present on the 1989 Pinarello catalgue, from the fluo range.

I love it, good job!

Pretty Exotic

Graphite finish on the cranks and the Deltas. Sheesh!!

Well done

Must have been a fun project getting this one together. Is the rear brake working smoothly with that cable routing?

Thanks! The cabling can't do

The cabling can't do any harm to the already weak deltas...
But yes, it is smooth ;)

wow that's hot.

i like the graphite group you used, too bad they didn't make a graphite seat post.

Did montello's come in that color?

you forgot to get graphite hubs!!!

either way looks dope!!

I'm afraid but Campagnolo

I'm afraid but Campagnolo never made graphite hubs... The only variant was the century ;)
The Montello was commonly painted in about 6 variants, but you could request other colours. This is a 1989 list:

Wow nice link!

i've got a montello in spumoni colorway waiting for a build. It's #27 on that chart. I can't wait, i've been trying to figure out what to do with mine.

also i didn't know they didn't make the graphite hub. why go through all that trouble, have cranks, brakes, levers and derailleurs then no seat post, headset or hubs?
