I built this up from frame with modern Shimano 105 components and threadless carbon fork and headset. 19 pounds and 12 ounces.

Will be going Shimano 105 5800 11 speed very soon! Stay tuned.

Uuuuuuuuu!!!!

very nice bike. Love the old steel frame with new stuff on it. Color combination is fantastic!! The carbon fork was by choice?
Congrats, beautiful bike, enjoy.

Fork

Yes, my choice. Saves some weight and I wanted to go threadless.

I was just reading....

a 2013 issue of Bicycling, where they were trying to find a carbon bike that rode like steel. DUH! No need for that!

Great Ironman.

Wow this looks great! Kudos

Wow this looks great! Kudos on choosing silver components. And Pacenti/White Ind. wheels! What a guy.

:)

Thanks! I love em. May very well be the last pair of road wheels I buy. I can even go 11 speed in the future :)
