Frameset is repainted by my friend Frank in Team 7 Eleven colours, using repro decals. Team 7 Eleven was sponsored by Eddy Merckx, (mainly using Corsa Extra frames) in 1989 and 1990. The team never used MX Leader framesets, as MX Leader frames were introduced in the mid 90's.

MX Leader

Man, this bike is immaculate. Very cool!

Very nice indeed. I remember seeing these in a magazine when I was young. They were awesome then as they are stil. Enjoy

I love the MX-Leader! Do you know anything about dating the frame by the serial numbers? Everywhere I search I find jack on it. I heard that the new owners of the factory lost the archives on serial numbers.

Also: Isn't that seat cluster a sign that yours is an early version?

You are right

about the seat cluster. The shape differs from other MX Leaders I've seen. Mine is probably an early version, it doesn't have cable guides near the headtube either.
