I picked this up off Gumtree for a bargain, it was set up as a triathlon bike when I bought it but I replace the entire cockpit so it's now more user friendly. It's a great commuter bike with really nice Shimano 600 components. The suspension beam took a little getting use to, but now it's super fun to ride and gets loads of comments.
This is one of the first makes of bike to use a carbon suspension beam. Back in the 80's Softride and Zipp worked together to further develop this technology, the collaboration didn't last long but it did lead to the development of the iconic ZIPP 2001 and ZIPP 3001 beam bikes.
