My day to day beater.
Aquila was an italian bike manufacturer that, as far as I have gathered, stopped making bikes in the 1980's. I found this bike in a garage in a small town near Stockholm, Sweden. The former owner had inherited the bike from his uncle, an old cop that loved and raced bikes in the 70's an 80's.
The tubes are Columbus. Gears are a Campagnolo Victory/super record-mashup. Wheels are Mavic + Spidel hubs. Crankset: Ofmega with Campagnolo C-record pedals. The brakes are Shimano 600, so a crazy mix between european and japanese components which wasn't all that uncommon among the racers of the time.
