Garbage found, abandoned. Apart from the headset bearings every moving part was wrecked... Fork was bended, frame as well but no problem for a bike mechanic like me. Had to change many parts like the stem, handlebars and brake levers as well as the wheels, crankset and bottom bracket but the result is beyond expectations..... This is the best bike for downhill in the Alps and Colline in the North Italy I ever have ridden. The brakes are amazing, the frame is very comfortables downhill and the steering character is so easy: no problem to change the line at high speed downhill.

Giant is gigante!

The Giant Peleton Superlite was for a long time on top of my wishlist; Especially this tipe with the sexy forkcrown and the deluxe engraving.
The frame can technically compete with tailor made Italian roadbikes, is made sizewise as an Italian roadbike as well: Same dimensions as my Pinarello Asolo. It is fascinating to feel the technological progress in framebuilding: Due the 10 years of difference the Asolo is much stiffer (the Asolo is mid of late 90's the Superlite mid 80's) but as I said, the Superlite is Supercomfortable and since the Superlite digs short reach brakes rather than the Asolo wich requires long reach brakes the Superlite is much safer downhill concern to my behaviour downhill 8-)......
