Merckx Geometry. If you find on of these frames, you likely won't fit the size you think you will. I ride a 57cm (Square) frame. This 60 fits me perfectly. An amazing frame the does everything really well, though sluggish on the steep stuff.

nice merckx.i notice you

nice merckx.i notice you have a long stem and seat that your riding style or something to do with the frame size?just curious

Stem is not long, 120. The

Stem is not long, 120. The MX has a 72.2 seat tube angle. My setup on a 73.5 seat tube is right about in the middle of te seat rails. At 72, a setback seatpost won't allow the seat where it needs to be. I had to find a zero setback to make it work. Pretty common for these frames, for what I've read.

Nice, real nice bike man!! Steel type?? More detail pictures?? Enjoy the ride, looks mighty comfi.

Build & Ride~the MX Leader

Build & Ride~the MX Leader is made up of MXL tubing. It's odd shaped & over sized tubing. It's one of the most unique riding road frames. It just wants to glide forward with every pedal stroke. I don't want to bore anyone, it's made using Merckx geometry. The MXL tubing was a special design for Merckx, I believe.
