Waiting on hoods for the brake levers and then will redo the wrap still deciding if I want to stay yellow or go black. Pedals need proper metal cages.

Definitely looks more slick in black!

Got a FLite saddle from a friend that came off a bike that had been wrecked, oiled the leather, looks as good as new.

Running inexpensive Sun m13 wheelset that is acually really solid and buttery smooth.(the 600 set needs to be rebuilt with new spokes and nipples)

Super stiff responsive ride!

Obviously you are really enjoying taking this one out.

Keep it classy

I like the color of this frame a lot. And I think the yellow needs to be ditch on both the wrap and cage. I think keeping the colors suttle would really put a class to this bike. Maybe do away with the red tires as well.

But I like this build. It looks like a great ride.

I agree 100%

...and may look out for a thiner tape - it gives a more classic look too. And if you want to go for perfection you could also replace the saddle. But it's a nice bike already!I like Casatis - great cycles until today.

Replace the saddle

Replace the saddle? what is the thought behind this. the saddle is fantastic. The bike actually came with two, the other one is identical still with the tags in Italian from Gipiemme.

I like it but

I would choose a saddle in one colour - but thats only my personal opinion.

Thanks for the feedback, It looked really hard and uncomfortable at first and I was going to change it, but after a couple spins around the block it turns out to be really comfortable and fits me perfect.
It does remind me of Gonzo from the muppets though:)

The problem with the saddle is that it looks wrong from the rest of what is, for the most part, a classic build. Ergo bars not-withstanding, the saddle just looks like it was the comfiest thing you could find, versus what feels correct for the build. Whatever gets you riding is the best choice of course, but look into getting a Flite on there maybe.

ditch the yellow

I have some cinelli black tape and a silver vintage elite cage as well that I was planning to put on once I get the hoods for the levers.
