I have been looking for some time for a GT Edge or Forte Titanium frame. I saw this frame listed and thought I would use it as a donor frame set whilst I wait for a Titanium one to become available. Turns out the bike is a really smooth ride, so I can wait patiently until a suitable GT Ti frame becomes available.

BTW anyone selling a GT Edge or Forte Titanium Frame in 56cm (prefer Forte model)...

His saddle is way forward, assuming fit is correct, why would he want a setback?

I was judging by the amount of rails left behind the clamp. You might be right. Either way, I think a black seat post would look nicer.

Actually I normally ride a Lynskey Medium which is about 54cm, but its a little small. Given this frame was cheap, I thought I'd try a 56cm and see whether it was OK or a little big. That way when a GT Ti frame comes up I'll know whether to get a 54 or 56.

Nice build

I've found GT frames to have long top tubes. It seems like when in question, get the smaller option.

This is a damn nice build, but will be much better with the Ti frame! Can't wait to see it done!
