This is a 57cm Merrick Track, built in the mid 90's by Ken Merrick, a former master builder at Waterford. The frame is constructed from Reynolds 753 steel - builders were required to demonstrate brazing proficiency before Reynolds would sell them 753 tubesets, as the superb quality of the steel needed to be matched with superb skill on the part of the builder. Custom fork using 531 steel and a matching stem complete the bike, with a remarkable Magenta-Blue-Emerald fade making for a visually stunning piece.

Wow, that's a really special track bike. American heritage.

will u sell this bike for 150 dollars email ur reply back asap

Yeah, about that...

Even though I'm getting to the point in my racing that trying to pretend this bike fits the way I'd like is getting harder and harder, and that I might be willing to let the bike go to the right home for the right price... I think the right price might be a teensy bit higher than that.

Wow this is a proper stunner!

No no no

A23's are awesome! Do some reading on the trend to wider rims/ tires. These at 100 psi with 23mm tires are faster than any traditional box section at 110+

Agreed, the tire has a much

Agreed, the tire has a much more aerodynamic profile on wide rims, so when paired with a fast tire like a GP400S they fly. I'm also a big fan of how the wider rims reduce a lot of the nasty bumps and other pavement inconsistencies (ah the joys of outdoor velodromes) and allow me to not get bucked off the saddle as much.

So perfect.

Everything about this is just perfect.
