You can't find a sweeter blue paint than you find on this Corsa. The ride and handling quality is out of this world. I think the SL frame is even lighter than the SLX and I can't really tell any difference in the ride quality. If you are thinking Corsa versa Corsa Extra, don't think twice, grab whatever comes your way as either frame is spectacular. (by the way, that shit pink paint that comes on these Shamals came off with one swipe of some acetone...without harming the black lettering underneath! I don't recommend everyone try this, but I'm happy with the results.)

man, that's a hell of a bike!!! I've got the SLX version, a bit older frame. Looking forward to build it. Yours looks like it is in very nice shape. No DA for this bike??

Merckx Corsa

Thanks. Although I like Dura Ace, these frames just scream Campy.

+1

I like a nice European frame with components from the continent. Having the Euro in the tank once in a while doesn't hurt.

Very nice EM..

I've got both SL and SLX bikes, and few riders outside of the pro peloton could tell you the difference, blindfolded, given identical geometry and components, between a wide range of tubing.

I'm with you on the fuscia screen print on the Shamals. I had it on my Ventos and ended up buying a set of red decals for them, looked a lot better.

Great build, nice balance of colors. Merckx frames have often been a challenge to coordinate the myriad of colors they've chosen over the years. Ride it like you mean it, and have fun.

That's a sweet EM! The custom levers are bling. The whole color synergy just pops man, so props. I can tell you there's a subtle difference in feel. Generally the SL is a touch lighter, stiffer, sharp as a razor. The SLX is a tad more supple, forgiving, rides like butter. It's nice to have both.
