front wheel

how much was the front wheel? and what do you honestly have to say about the ride quality?

front wheel

i bought the set from a woman who wanted to do a triathalon before she died. the wheels were never trained on and used in the one and only race she ever entered. when i first saw them they were hanging in her garage covered in an inch and a half of dust. 0 for the pair. i sold the rear wheel to a roadie that nite who gave me 0, so in the end i paid 0 for it. then i painted it and threw on the gatorskin. in the end it was under 0. is it smooth? yes. is comfortable to ride on? yes. am i afraid of it exploding on me and never being able to replace it? maybe. so ya i guess i ride a little more cautiously than i really want to...

this is gorgeouus

Obey Cockpit

I agree. The first thing I would have changed are the stem and handlebars. Although the gold on black looked good, the angle didn't seem right and the bars didn't have enough drop to them.

the stock stem, bars and seatpost were junk. the cranks, bb and wheelset were decent but sold them and replaced it all with stuff that the bike deserved, the frame and forks are really well built, nice lugs and dropouts. the dude who designed the bike was obviously a really big fan of keirin culture cos the thing has lots of details on it that are usually found on njs frames. my plan all along was to do that justice.

Shepard Fairey

The Obey artist. Kind of like the Cinelli collaboration with Mike Giant. The Miche crankset actually is not bad. The Chris King headset is definitely killer though.

What do you mean by stock?

What do you mean by stock?

oh i guess i used the word stock in the notes, thats how i bought it, all gold and black, i rocked it like that for a bit and then built it up to how you see it now. kinda what i meant about constant evolution.

the fork that came with the frame. the stock fuji fork
