This bike is my dream bike.
The Dura Ace 7402 group is butter! Brakes are a bit finicky though.
The frame is little more stiff than I'd like as something that I'll never race, but it is a rad piece of art, engineering, and performance.
This took a long time to put together, and it will be mine for much, much longer.

Parted out, frame sold. (SOLD)

3/5/2013: Will have photos with Grand Bois tires and silver Shimano 105 pedals eventually. Current photo does not reflect these changes.

4/25/2013: New photos with tires and pedals.

Bike to dream about

Yes, that's a bike to dream about.

Lucky Man,

Your build looks well thought out.

Thank you! :)

Thank you! :)

Fantastic !!!

What a nice looking bike, and the 7402 is perfect!! I also have this frame, except a litte older, will be built up over the next 2 years. These frames are really nice. Hope you can fit in, and ride her.

Very classy

Very classy ride parker! don't sell this! just get the longer stem. Long stems are the best anyways. You should try to hunt down a team jersey to go with it.

Thanks homie, working on the

Daaaaaaaaaaaamn son!!

As if I need another bike, but I have always thought a Merckx with 7400 would be a sweet ride!! enjoy!

Kick-ass bike Parker! I bet

Kick-ass bike Parker! I bet that group's smooth as hell, when that 7400 came out it was the future... It belongs on a team bike

Thank you!!

Thank you!!

This is fantastic. Dont sell

This is fantastic. Dont sell it. I think these bikes were meant to be used with long ass stems because of the short top tubes relative to seat tubes (as I assume this is)

Gummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmwallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllls please

This one actually has pretty square dimensions, I think 58x58.5 c-c. I just have a really long torso/arms. A slightly longer stem will really do the trick.
I know, next sunny day and when I get some new pedals!

I have

a 130 Cinelli if it's of interest still...

Good choice on the wraps by the way!

I need a 26.4 clamp 130. I

I need a 26.4 clamp 130. I sent you a message.

and I still have that 130

and I still have that 130 mavic somewhere

I miss mine

I miss mine

I've been tempted to sell this already, I would be better off on a 60cm. But I'm going to try a longer stem (125mm or 130mm). It won't be the most conventional fit but I really hope it will feel better. I'm really cramped with a 120mm. I better keep it though, I figure if I sold it, I'd really regret it.
This bike is SO stiff!

90s revival

I had the same size bike (57 top tube) with a 125 stem, mine also felt snug but I liked it. Compared with today the 90s fitting guide was less drop and longer, also the steep head tubes need to be toned down, so a long stem makes sense. I would love to be alternating between the Merckx and LOOK.
