more about uploading pictures

the instructions don't tell you about using a unique name for your pictures, but you need to. here's what happened: you uploaded a picture named "MyBike.jpg", but there is already a file with that name in the bigass storage area of bike pictures. the uploader created a new thumbnail from your picture and named it "t_MyBike.jpg" and replaced the existing thumbnail with yours. but the existing full-size picture was not replaced. if you go to the page with the guy's centurion on it, it will show your thumbnail. crazy, i know.

you may have noticed that simply uploading your same bike again, in the exact same way, did not fix the problem. what you need to do is rename the photo in some way you can be sure is unique, using for example your user name. then upload the renamed picture in place of the "MyBike.jpg" picture. then delete your extra bike. the other guy's thumbnail, sadly, can only be replaced by him if he cares to do so.
