Calamita is a Japanese brand of nice steel bikes, mildly priced thanks to the equation great frames + crappy components = don't cost you an arm to begin with.
Model Uno is a copycat of Colnago Master's geometry. Interestingly, Calamita's mother company is the official importer of Colnago, Tommasini and Casati bikes in Japan, so they must have some kind of agreement with Italian companies to be allowed to mimic their designs.
There is still some work to put on this one to replace components that have to be replaced, but it's gonna be my commuter in Japan while I am here and I love it already.
