Fellow VS member helped me aquire this from a Fort Meyes CL Listing. The chrome needs some attention, the components are beyond spectacular and just need some spit shine. The attention to detail by this build is pneomenal, beautiful chrommed and pantoed lugs, pantoed BB and rear brake bridge, super clean internal cable routing.
Its to small for me to ever ride, but I plan on doing a complete resto, and then I will flip it. complete or in parts.

YOU got the Florida

YOU got the Florida Chesini!? Nice work man, IIRC I originally posted that in the Best of CL thread. Glad it's in the VS family now.

And, BTW, I ride a 53, just sayin' ;o)

The chrome on the fork is pretty much toast

the rear triangle is perfect, just needs a buffing, but chrome and paint will run in the neighborhood of 0, not counting drop off / pick up / shipping

450

450, the decals are typical italian w/o clear so they are shadowy.

It looks like the frame just

It looks like the frame just needs a paint compounding and chrome polishing, and only the fork need be rechromed/restored, no?

P.S. post costs without dollar sign so they don't get weeded out

Uuuuu!!!

what an awesome bike!! Man, got to be pissed off that its too small, this thing is absolutelly fantastic.

I knew it was too small

but it was to nice to pass up

Nice...

Its odd to see another Chesini like mine. This is a nice find...

Ben

you sir,

Appear to have had some good finds yourself. Really torn about going forward with a resto. I know the costs and time involved, and I will never be able to properly ride it, but it is very desrving of having it done. I love the paint scheme extension on your example, I may steal the idea, it reflects the same thought as your Colnago Master.

My parents live

My parents live semi-annually in Fort Myers.

If you're ever in the area, we should ride.

Breathtaking, really! I

Breathtaking, really! I would be interested in the group if and when you do decide to flip it parted out.
