Picked up the frame for the large size. Quite a bit of cosmetic damage but I'm planning on giving it an overhaul, maybe a pearl-white respray with a thick sparkle/clearcoat? I'd love to have track dropouts put on but I'd probably be lynched by the Nishiki purist mob. No sign of the original decals ever being intact so I'm thinking it's been re-sprayed before. The stamp on the BB shell was the only way of identifying it. Fork came from a LBS in Melbourne (I think)and is soon to be replaced with the same in 700c. Thinking about swapping out the Omniums for old Sugino's or something.
Shit is maaaaad fast.

Nishiki model and year

Judging from the stays and bosses, this looks the same as a 1985 Prestige from the USA distributor. However there are no brake cable guides visible on the top tube. This could also be a 1984 International, but the cable boss on the chainstay is not correct.
