Nice Concorde!

Wow, that is a pretty bike! I love that blue, but for whatever reason it's somewhat rare. You said this won't be the final version, so what are your plans?

I dont now why it's not common. I bought the frame on eBay, the owner posted his built here too:,

he gave me a very nice price which make me feel like x'mas comes early.

bar, drivetrain, a lot works to do (I mentioned the details in another reply) ,oh I almost forget the rims...old school single pivet calipers + non-machined rims= nightmares of descending. but I love my black version Royal Gran Compe calipers, so I'm going to replace the rims with modern products.

nice bike

looks great !! You could post more pictures though. What do you plan for final version?

I'm trying to modify a 9s HG-50 cassette into 7s to fit the 7s SIS shifter, while using a 8s chain with HG grooves and RD-1050 6S derailleur, so the drivetrain will be like a 6/7/8/9s parts combination.....not sure if this will work though. This might save about 100g weight and improve the shifting.

The RX100 front derailler(looks ok but the material is too soft, too much hesitation while shifting) will be replaced by FD-1055.

And the bar, it's killing me, the shape is too deep, gonna replace it with Nitto B115.

I'd like to keep this mid-late 80s style but don't want to sacrifice too much performance,so.

Concorde & Faggin

Both very nice!

Thanks~ I love your Harry
