don't change the bar tape

don't change the bar tape, it's a Benotto one, and it's super rare!!

Bella Italia ! - "Ride or sell" ? ... What more do you want ?, i.e. 'Ride' of course. See if you are happy with tubulars instead of clinchers, and maybe check if you can get hold of a classic fluted seat tube plus an italian saddle, e.g. a copper plated black (Selle San Marco) 'Regal', instead of this fat monster from Brooks.

In order not to grind your own gears, avoid cross-chaining (cf. your pic). Maybe drop-bars with a little less 'drop' than your current ones would feel more comfy here. I would possibly shorten the brake cables. The bar tape is alright, but saddle and bars look a bit 'pre-WWII', which your bike clearly isn't :D

Great Color

Like the others have said. Casati is one of the best marques out there. I really like this color. I would do a Concor or Cinelli SLX saddle and wrap the bars in leather.

know anything about this bike??

I know I would like to have it !!!
Casati made and still makes superb bikes.

One of the Best

Probably one of the best vintage Italian road bikes you can get your hands on.
