My first serious road bike build. The hard work was done by Eric Baker before I got it. The right BB cup came loose after a couple of rides and the crank removal threads are sketchy. That's how garage queens are born. This bike and it's ride quality enticed me to seek and acquire a Motobecane "team Champion". Stay tuned as I have most of the parts. See the full photo spread at

Great to see

this time capsule so tastefully restored. Hopefully mine will look a little like this sometime soon. It's very helpful to have this Moto to follow, your photos and description are probably the most detailed on the internet.

Motobecane

That's a very nice Motobecane.

loose drive-side cup

right-hand threads will do that. i have had to resort to blue loctite on french builds more than few times.

that is a really nice-looking bicycle. looking forward to the "team champion" as well.

Elegance

This is a really sweet classic road bike. Nice build and it looks very very good.
Kindest regards
Splined
