Trying to build a road bike with sporty characteristics but based on a steel frame I bought a 12year old Daccordi Profidea frame.
With a new paint scheme designed by me and lot of help from friends I finally have my dream road bike.

Is the frame built with Columbus Zona? Very nice bike, but this Italian-bred bike screams for a 9/10-speed Campy group, imho!

Daccordi Profidea tubing and Groupset

The exact tube-set of this frame was a mystery to me. This model was made between 1998 - 2001. Daccordi used to built them (at that period) using various Columbus tube-sets like Nemo, Foco or Ultra Foco. According to weight and tube measurements only Nemo is an exact match. I used the only sticker I could find. I totally agree with a 2001 - 2008 Campy groupset but I had the Shimano 105 already so I spared myself from extra expensices.

Nice bike. Steel looks good with modern paint.
