BTW, I remember checking out your bikes a while back–love the stable. Which shop do you work at? I'm demo'ing bikes to replace the R3.

I use to work at Sports Basement. I work at City Cycle currently.

Yeah, I wonder where those shoes came from?

Thanks yet again for those. Took a test run recently and they gave me the carbon purr.

Unfortunately, I can't make it down to Hellyer for a couple more weeks as I'm waiting on shoes and my dog had an accident that is gonna hurt financially.

nice build!.. if you don't reconcile your financial issues, i would love to swoop dis up!

I hope your dog gets better!

I hope you dog gets better!

hope the canine is okay.

Seriously though, as I was talking to the vet I was thinking, should I sell the T1 just in case? Thankfully, after talking to them earlier, they said I didn't need to sell the bike. ; )

this is pretty sweet! what track are you at? what catagory?
this is really similar to how i would build my dream track bike. only changes i would make personally would be alloy bars and a rear disc and of course saddles/pedals are personal.
how are those cranks?

This is for Hellyer...

I am basically "cat 6" as I haven't been riding for a couple years for a few personal and health reasons. Basically this was built up as motivation for getting back into riding track and getting some muscle back as my legs have become crutches for my torso : p

As for the bars, I'm not deadset on them, I think they're just a bit wide for me. I'm thinking of going alloy in the 36/35 realm and getting 40s for sprints.

The cranks are actually really stiff–I'm not the biggest (heaviest) guy but I recall feeling and seeing my Campagnolo Record track cranks and before that Sugino 75 cranks give a bit on sprints. And, I found these cheaper than Dura Ace's online. The disappointment when getting these cranks was that no shop had the FSA BB's instock–seems like those were back ordered all over the place. But, from what I've seen in reviews of their Ti BBs, there was quite a few complaints that they didn't last very long.

:0 droolz

Hell yeah, rad.

Of course...

the damn thing fell over when I was shooting it. Better than falling down on a bank.
