Sometimes I let some air out of the tires. It it gets real bumpy, I stand up.

I have wanted a cantilever Schwinn bike like this forever! I finally built this one from parts I've had around for decades and a frame and fork (etc) purchased on the street for . Its not a real Chicago Schwinn, but a 90s or 00s tig welded Taiwanese retro Schwinn. I redished an old mountain bike rear wheel and put on a BMX freewheel. The seat post is made out of a mountain bike handlebar, its just long enough! Since the photos I've added a front lowrider rack and use this bike to commute to work a few days a week.

A very cool bike. Looks very simple and fun to ride with sensible upgrades. I want it.
