Original spoke guard?

God I hated that biopace when it came out. That bike definitely needs to stay original though, nice work.

Kind of funny because I rode

Kind of funny because I rode a Biopace equipped DX-5000 for years until I built my 2000 Pinarello Paris. When I switched back to round rings on the Pinarello I didn't really notice any change. It was sure the fad at the time though. My other MC-5500 has Suntour Cycloid rings which mimic the Biopace design. Jump on the marketing bandwagon eh? ;-)

Oh, and yes the spoke guard is pretty classy isn't it? I could clean it up a bit more. I've got another one off of my Team Japan that I am going to experiment with to see if I can de-yellow them.

Bike Looks Cherry

I can assure you that this one isn't quite as minty as it might look in the photos. ;-) It was ridden so it does have a fair number of scratches and rubs that I plan on addressing. The aluminum bits had a fair amount of corrosion on them as well so it took some tedious hand polishing to bring them back to life... but hey, that is part of the fun of it.

I'm kinda oc myself. So I know what you mean.
