Great Build

Such a nice caad10. How are those wheels holding up after some time? The club I just joined has hermes as the 2013 sponsor and I am looking into getting some of the alloy wheels as well as the carbon.

that is most certainly a sweet looking ride.

PS, already commented, but here I am again. Inspired..

I almost did the same a few days ago... This bike inspired me to start my CAAD's with SRAM cluster

Thank you both. Couldn't be happier with the CAAD/SRAM combo, as well as my current fit.

how does it compare

To a Synapse? Have you had a chance to ride one?
Nice build, report back on the wheelset after you've put some hurt on them

Thanks. Haven't rode a Synapse before, but those bikes are more relaxed and have curved stays.

The wheelset is great, super stiff and very light for the price. Been riding it before I bought the frameset.

Never heard Lapierre before.

they make the FDJ tour de france bikes, yeah

this is such a great blend of parts for a race bike. Proves you don't need to go carbon to have a light, stiff, responsive race bike. i haven't ever heard of those rims/hubs, how are they?

Thanks! It definitely rides

Thanks! It definitely rides loads better than the Fuji. The wheels are made my by collegiate sponsor. They're pretty light at 1440g, and plenty stiff for me (140lbs).

you race for

UCR in collegiate? How many riders do y'all have? How did your collegiate season go?

Haha how'd you know UCR? We have somewhere around 10 racing riders. We have one Cat3, a few Cat4s, and a handful of Cat5s. So far the season has been going great. We've podiumed every Cat4 and Cat5, as well as CatC and CatD. I just need one more to upgrade to 4s.
