Mean machine

That is a tough looking machine! It's the only one other than my own that I've ever seen. I have the same frame (52cm) & even the same saddle as you do. Where did you ever find the Hed C2 Belgium clinchers with black brake tracks? I have a Mavic Ellipse wheelset on mine right now, but its a bit heavy @ nearly 2k grams. I've been thinking about building a wheelset with Phil low-flange hubs & Hed Belgiums. Your wheels look fantastic! My hesitation (besides funds) is I only want all black rims, no naked machined brake track. Awesome ride brother!

the rims are just painted. cheap, but it works.

I love this build, you got

I love this build, you got some better decals than mine! Is the optimo CAAD 5 as well or newer/pre cappo?

it's a tad newer than the caad5 track bikes, but pre cannondale capo, pre-caad8 generation.

Very Clean

Really well done. Why the gatorskins though? Just for street? Will you be using other tires for track?

I wanted the clincher ease of use so I could change tires back and forth with my other bikes. I'll run them at the track. doubtful I'll switch away from gatorskins anytime soon, they're quite durable.

Wow, really spared no expense on the build. Bet those wheels cost a pretty penny...

Now in my top list of bikes,

Now in my top list of bikes, sir this was very well done.
