what did you do to those rims to make them shine?

Jeff Anderson was the fucking man.

Nice job

How did you get rid of the decals of the frame AND the fork???

powder coated the frame, seat post, stem and crank arms. rattle can job on the forks (carbon) and bars (added after).

i couldn't take the 20 logos that came on this bike.

How did paint the fork?

Did you prep the fork by sandpapering and priming first?
I would like to paint mine glossy black, but I'm afraid of messing it up.

ya i wet sanded it with 300

ya i wet sanded it with 300 wet/dry sandpaper, then primered and sanded again. lots of thin coats with about 20-30 minutes in between each coat and around 24 hours dry time.

Powder coat

Nice work on blacking out the logos. I'm considering doing the same to my own Sputnik. Black electrical tape suffices, but is not extremely classy, imo.

How much $$$ was the powdercoat?

Powder coat

Just had a frame done by Olympic in Santa Ana for 5.00. Great job.

specialized coatings

the guys over at specialized coatings in Huntington Beach hooked me up free of charge, the company i work for does alot of bussiness with them! i hated the large amount of logos this bike came with, she's looking pretty now though.
