Thanks, I just checked out your Gitane, and It looks great.

Droolworthy!

Very, very nice clean build. Kinda zen garden-like austerity in the build (at least I think so!) : )

Tangential spoking for the wheels, rat-traps, clips and straps - yay!!!

Are you still able to find racing shoes that take cleats for these pedals?

Salute!

I won't hate on the weinmanns...

But I might hate a lil bit on the brake setup. May I ask why you would run all that cable for a rear brake instead of just using a front brake, which would supply probably 3 or 4 times the braking power?

I'm aware of the power

I'm aware of the power difference. I forgot to mention I'll be purchasing some drop levers and another brake caliper soon. It's a combination of preference, and a lack of funds, not an aesthetic/fashion choice.

Should like nice when

Should like nice when complete. Also should be able to stop effectively when complete, an added bonus ;)

Probs

Probably so he can do sweet whip skids without breaking a sweat.

Bikes are really

Bikes are really straightforward machines, it is stupid to infer anything about how I ride my bike from the appearance.
