I have so G D much to say about this bike and the process of building the frame that I hardly know where to start. I wanted to build a frame that I could run drops on comfortably (I've never had one), with clearance for 38c tires, and just a shit-ton of braze-ons. Came out better than I expected.
Geometry:
ST= 57cm, 72.5°, 28.6mmΦ
TT= 57cm, 28.6mmΦ
DT= 31.8mmΦ
HT= 73.5°
BB Drop= 71mm
CS= 445mm, 22.2mm ROR
Fork= 387.5mm, 45mm rake, 57mm trail
I used a Kaisei 019os tubeset for the main triangle, stays, and fork blades. Lugs are Richard Sachs "Richissimo." Pacenti BB and fork crown (Paris-Brest-Paris). Sachs dropouts F+R. Paragon canti mounts, bottle bosses, cable stops, rack and fender mounts.
It's hard to tell from the grainy, rainy day pics, but I slobbered silver all over, and I probably will look back thinking I neglected a lot of clean up, but I jusst wanna ride the damn thing already, and it needs to be painted before I can take it out for its real maiden voyage (damn you, Northwest!).
Super Special Thanks to Joseph Ahearne of Ahearne Cycles for not strangling me at any point for all my overly specific questions. Regular Special Thanks to Bob at UBI, for so much more than just having the same name as me.
