Those cranks take me back, they used to be cutting edge, from what I remember.

Yeah it's hollow splined. I guess they had 2 different versions due to the splines wearing out and creaking. This is the later model which was improved to prevent that. I was just at veloswap and talked to a bunch of older guys about them. They told me the MTB versions used to break fairly regularly
