This is my current race bike. With race wheels, it weighs just under 16lbs and is as stiff as anything I have ever ridden. Eat it, plastic bikers.

Kick ass restomod! You race

Kick ass restomod! You race compact gearing? How did you get the decals off the fork?

I will almost certainly be reinstalling the 53-39 rings

At least by the time start racing again. The fork is an EC90SL all carbon fork. It looked dumb, so I painted it. The decals are under there somewhere.

Ok cause from the photo it

Ok cause from the photo it appears to be naked carbon. I thought you had some trick for dissolving decals from under the clear coat or something. I love my ec90 but the decals just don't jive with the frame. What a shame.

Super NICE!

Always loved Paramounts of this era.
The original fork would be nice to have on it, though... but that's nit picking!

The original fork is threaded

I didnt want to mess around with a threaded stem or an adapter. Other than that, I'd rather it be on there too.

As a "plastic" bike lover, I do like this bike. The bar tape looks like duct tape however.

Sorry to dis plastic bikes

I'm just glad people are into bikes. There are obviously a bunch of plastic components on my bikes. I just like old bikes and I fear that the there won't be any from the current era in future. Plastic doesn't hang around like steel. The tape looks much better in real life. Thanks for the compliment on the bike.
