Very innovative for its time with pressed-in bearing for the BB (BB30?) and the hubs. The reversed levers with the sew-on elkhide give a nice clean look.

How do you like this VO type 3 Saddle? How does it compare to a Brooks B17?

The quality of the VO

The quality of the VO saddles is really amazing, I think, certainly for the money spend. The #3 has a profiled top that is good against sliding, but somehow gives a bit of plastic look. I have seen the others (eg #1 & #6) and they look more genuine. The #3 is a bit wider then the B17 (maybe B17S) I guess, but I haven't got them side by side.
