Yay, another unnecessary wall-hanger! I had a good time restoring this back to stock, with my own obnoxious changes. A previous owner had swapped out a lot of the og drivetrain for wide-range gearing, so I took my time and found an appropriate 9000 RD, 42t Suntour ring (with correct date stamp teehee), and suitable chain/freewheel (thanks again Merry Sales). Finding a black Fujita Feather saddle may prove difficult, but I'm happy with the Avocet beater saddle.
Pic 5 shows a brief phase with a Chorus 11 group. Fun, but unnecessary.
After grappling with this one for months, I sold this to a neighbor back home who will ride it a thousand times more than me. I love the pink/black scheme to death, but in all honesty I prefer the 70s friction rigs. Glad to have owned it though.
