Not too much to note, other than I got the frame for free and then spent about 15 hours filing out a stuck Sugino seatpost over the course of months. I finally got it out when I was this close to giving up, and kept the frame intact and undamaged. I splurged on the correct sized Campy 2-bolt post that my boss had stashed upstairs; kind of silly but it's the most expensive part of the bike. Everything else (minus the spokes) were used spare parts of mine or random stuff from the shop.

Sold this awhile ago to another Davis student; I see him cruising around campus every so often. Brings a smile to my face.

People who friended this bike knapprobert, Zephyrus, campystamp, Cornell, gridplan, muttsbutts, Splined, velocepedestrian, justine, trigzz, beastonabike, per.k,

your bike has me....

.... wanting to get my bottecchia back to its "geared" glory.

sadly, the other shifter is missing its wedge expander and I think has gone AWOL in my shop since I left lying around... it may be in the dump now :(

I've never tried a Regal before, but if I get the chance I will definitely hop on one. I appreciate your interest!

I commend you on your patience

It must be very rewarding to know you saved a beautiful vintage Italian frame.

it is indeed

Thanks for your comments man, I really appreciate em.
