Campy Record 07

Bought this frame and fork in 07. It was brand new. Never had a part fitted. I couldn't find all the parts from the correct era so I just went with ultra modern Campagnolo. The bars and stem look right for the frame and I think all the new parts look ok too. Had to cold set the chainstays to take 130mm spacing. I want more info on that Columbus tubing. It's sort of petal shaped a la Colnago but twisted at the ends. I think it's awesome but I've never seen it anywhere else. Have I got a one off?

sweet project

are their any updates on your bike? Your vintage/modern set up inspired me to fix up my bianchi.

Benotto Cromor it is(sadly not a 1 off)

Today I stumbled across a twisted looking frame, while checking out, and I remembered your bike.
Look at
for a page about a bike that appears to be a Benotto Cromor from late 1980's. Maybe you can contact the owner and get some info on the frame!
(when you do, don't forget to post it).

Stunning looking frame btw, though i miss the looks of some shiny c-record bits(and a seat+post of course).

Ok first of all, way to go

Ok first of all, way to go on the modern parts, that would have been my choice too. Finish it off and post new pics I gotta see this thing complete. Second, that tubing is gorgeous and I've never seen a Benotto quite like this. Im afraid I have no info for your ident help but my guess you do indeed have a one-off (spec team custom?) Something super special for sure!!

Just gotta throw in the seat post. Oh and clean it maybe.

my benotto

definitely not a one off as i think i have exactly the same bike as you. dont think it is a cromor as if you look at the tubing it is quite different. will post some picks of mine too if i can work out how to use this forum. finally i found someone else with this bike :)
