I paid a little over 300 for mine (including the used frameset, separate parts, and swapping out the fork). Did the work me self. Just sayin'

so you have all the same parts? for 300? This bike was put together without swapping. I wanted this exact bike, because I've settled with less before and it sucks...all the pieces work harmoniously. I agree with Vagrant, but how much is there to build really? Unless you laced your wheels..there's nothing really to do on a fix bike.

Don't get me wrong. They're great bikes, and i made some compromises here and there. I built the wheels from free parts. they ain't no Phils but they work. That's really where the savings came in most. I agree with you in that price doesn't matter. The ride matters. But yeah, if I had the money I'd probably get a lot of those same parts.
