Watch the chain slack

Master links that are a half link work really well for getting the length just right. Remember your chain is going to stretch a little over time.

to be fair

when the chain does stretch, it's time to replace it.

i was unaware alright. yeah

i was unaware alright. yeah actually my chain just broke on me last week. got any recommendation???

or otherwise the drivetrain wears out a lot faster and the cog starts making loud noises. got the noise got the noise part right.

A Stretched Chain...

does not mesh up with the teeth on the cog so irregular wear and noise occurs. Izumi Super Toughness, DID (motorcycle chain company), and HKK are strong track chains that are on the expensive side. KMC, Miche, and the econo Izumi track chains are good enough. Having a chain checker (Park Tools) is a plus because you'll be able to tell if it the chain is worn out. It's pretty affordable.

alright. im gonna check

alright. im gonna check these out, and order one asap! thanks.
