Sold the frame and moved some of the parts over to a Bare Knuckle I just picked up. The Kilo was great, and for the money it's impossible to beat, but the BK is definitely an upgrade.

Sram Omnium

I have a 57cm Kilo TT and I want to upgrade to a sram Omnium too. When I was looking at omnium cranks online I noticed there were different sizes, like yours for exmaple you say is 167.5. What is this based on and what size should I get for my kilo? I figured same size as yours because we both have the same bike. Would I be right?

Sure, why not?

I chose these for a little extra leverage over 165 without being so long as to get pedal strike/overlap. They are definitely not too long. I agree that you could go with 165-170 with no problems. I have basically no overlap even with size L cages and very little chance of pedal strike on turns.

its the lenght of the crank

its the lenght of the crank arms, the bigger your crank arms the more leverage, for fixed city riding i wouldnt go too big (pedal strike in corners) 165, 167.5, 170mm are all fine

Thanks!! That helped me

Thanks!! That helped me alot!

I'm definitely a fan

of that blue paint scheme. If I ever got another Kilo, it would be on my list.

I am also a fan. It's nice to find a bargain like that that still deserves nice parts.
