No thank you

July 2016: Removed all touring gear prepping this to move up to a cabin in the Norwegian woods to be a trail rider, hill climber. Long stem, tyres aren't quite right, but feels good to have her back as a MTB.

December 2012: New studded winter tires and matching from rim.
(spring) Gatorskin 1.25" (these were a PAIN IN THE A*S to get on the rim)

September 2012: Moved this bike to Norway and with it some changes, including the install of the FSA crank (same chainrings as on the ST400 but with 26" wheels and 11-32 in rear), new front derailer and matching rims. Need to find a way to install front fender and will swap to +2" tired in winter. ...the cool old C'dale crank is going on the SM500.

December 2011: Changes to come in 2012 include 24-38-48 crank, normal drop bars, matching from hub/rim.

March 29, 2011: So yeah, same frame as the other M900 but set up for a cross country drive. I have always wanted to try drops on this although already I'm not so sure about the dirt drops. I have cross tops on here but they arent not meant to be used with linear-pull brakes but it seems to work okay for now. Also want to change the cranks out but really nervous about the clearance of upping the chainrings even to a 26t..? If the girlfriend rides this, which she is going to on and off, I need a no-setback seatpost since this top-tube is typical MTB: long!

Cane Creek Direct Curve brakes

Great build/ -s! What's your take on the Direct Curve 'V's? Asking as I've always thought the idea was interesting but read lots of conflicting views on setting them up to work evenly.
Thanks for sharing.

This I like a lot. Innovative thinking.
Seasons greetings

Thanks Splined!

This bike bounces back and forth from being a MTB to a touring bike, but it's versatile and will see some changes in 2012. ...I think you have 1 of every bicycle-brand that I have in the dream-bike category -- that Ti Moser is probably my favorite/most provacative of yours. Cheers!

Yes I was lucky to find the TI Moser. It rides sublimbly and is very very comfortable. I know many think I should Campag it out, but I have enough Campag equipped bikes and as it is I am working in Macau and that means hills.

Seasons greetings and take care.
